HSBC Basketball Classic 2007

The HSBC Basketball Classic is a unique and exciting community event. Founded 8 years ago, it is one of the most inclusive and inspiring opportunities for basketball enthusiasts across the Lower Mainland. The HSBC Basketball Classic focuses on the character, community contributions and academics of the participants, coaches and managers.

With approximately 2,000 high school students and other local community members participating, the weeklong event kicks off the basketball season for the players, fans and coaches within the Lower Mainland. It includes Boys and Girls High School Basketball Divisions as well as a First Nations, Cheerleading, Youth with Developmental Challenges, Elementary School Age Division, Night Hoops [at risk youth] and Wheelchair Basketball Divisions.

For the 4th year in a row the DCYBA is participating in the Youth with Developmental Challenges division.

The DCYBA believe our players will benefit from participation in this tournament by:
developing stronger basketball skills and talent

supporting their pursuit of basketball excellence
